The Antioch Discipleship School is an intense, fast-paced, and dedicated eight month adventure focused on the goal of following the ways of Jesus.
For more than 25 years, Antioch Discipleship Schools, ADS, have equipped and trained people to live lives consumed by a passion for Jesus and His purposes in the earth. More than 2,000 students have graduated from the ADS and are serving God in different capacities all over the world—from the workplace, as business men and women, and teachers, to distant nations of the earth as vocational ministers and everything in between. Simply put, Antioch Discipleship Schools provide training for living life on mission.
Classes meet weekly on Monday evenings and once a month on Saturday for an extended time. Regular class time is filled with passionate worship, dynamic speakers teaching the Word of God, and discipleship in small group settings called Connect Groups. In addition, students will be trained and equipped to share the love of Jesus to the people around them in many different ways.
During these 8 months God will do a mighty work in and through you as you:
• Learn how to BE WITH JESUS
• Understand how to BECOME LIKE JESUS
• Walk in boldness as you DO WHAT JESUS WOULD DO
practicals
A day in the life of an ADS student includes reading 4-5 chapters from the Bible, scripture memorization (3-4 per week), book readings, weekly class attendance (6-10pm on Mondays). Students will also serve Sunday mornings twice a month (kids, youth, host team, coffee setup, Production, etc). You will also share the Gospel at least three times a week.
Ultimately, you will get out of the experience what you are able to put into it. The staff is here to stand with you and equip you. Your personal ownership in this process is key for the school to be successful for you, but you need to come into the school with a desire to grow in God.
These are some of the areas we will focus on throughout the year:
Personal Devotional life/Bible reading/worship/prayer
Vulnerability
Personal and relational wholeness
Accountability
Character
Integrity
Servanthood
General alignment to the life and teachings of Jesus and the scriptures
Global and local awareness
Biblical financial stewardship (diligent work, simple living, generous giving)
Evangelism
Missional living
Disciple-making
You will be expected to participate in the following:

By committing to the school, you are giving us – the staff and volunteer leaders – permission to help you and challenge you in these areas. While we do not expect perfection, we do desire to see you grow in each of the areas listed above. There will be weekly accountability and support for your growth during this time. We are committed to your personal development as a disciple of Jesus and your fruitfulness in life, and we are here to serve and exhort you toward those. Jesus is our vision, and loving obedience to Him is the goal.
You will also have the opportunity to partner with God in what He is doing locally and in the nations by participating in a weekend-long regional outreach (covered by your tuition) as well as a two-week international mission trip (in addition to your tuition).
